Wyoming mule deer bowhunting!! « Thread Started on Nov 24, 2006, 7:52pm »
Here are a couple of pictures of what you out here call an 18-point - we call it an 8x10 to designate how many points on each side. My husband had been watching this deer everyday for over a month and usually of course they are gone the morning the season opens. Not this time - he got this baby on the 2nd day of deer archery hunting!!! I was out of town and really dying to get home to see it but not anxious for my visit to end with my son... BUT I really was excited to see this bad boy - and I am still really impressed. It was "raw scored" at 170-5/8, though the taxidermist thought was higher than that, though was not certified to score it. We'll find out soon. what it scores, so since Pope & Young trophy is 170, hopefully it will still make it in. Would hate to miss it by an eighth or 2....anyway - yeah pictures
